this is probably really simple to do.. but i don't know how to.. so anyways..
i'm downloading Steven Kings's IT.. but i could only find it in 2 parts (i've been wanting it for months)
is there a way i can convert these 2 files into just one whole file? if so, how?
Movies are usually split into 2 CDs to keep the quality. I'd suggest burning in on DVD instead of VCD. I personally use Magix Video Delux 2006 PLUS. It's more for editing and such though, so someone might know a better one. If you want to burn it as VCD, you can use MPGEnc and compress both parts to the half of its size. (Ugh... good luck with the quality).

do u know if it would be ok to burn onto dvd via nero 7 ultra.. and if its 2 parts, will they automatically run into one another or will i have to load up the 2nd part once the first has finished..
The problem is that Nero doesn't convert them. It just burns it. You need a program to prepare the movie. I use the program I mentioned above, but it's huge and more for editing. But if you can get the ful version of this it might help.
