my friend gave me a digital still camera and he said it works as regular cam and web cam and i pluged it in and it says i need a CD software and i was wonderin how do i get the CD if he dont have it and if i cud download it some were or if any1 can send it to me off the CD or the stuff i need its a ''Shark Digital Still Camera''

Look at what kind of PRODUCT it is; ie brand name, Sony, Cannon, etc.

Go to the website; ie Sony.com

Go to the camera section of the website

Search for your camera by typing in the model number in a search bar
(or you can skip the first two steps and type the model number in google)
The model number should be somewhere on the camera

Find your model number, usually if you go to the offical site, you should be able to go to a DOWNLOADS page, and there you should find a series of different .exe's for you to use with your camera. Either that or you can order the cd from the website..
