Anybody heard of prefuse 73,the genre is glitch hop which is an electronica sub genre.Ive got this album and its class;

One of the songs on it has aesop rock and MF doom on it.Hes also worked with mr.lif,ghostface,masta killa and loads of other underground rappers.

one word extinguisher is a better album....i wouldn't consider prefuse as alternative music though...definitely hip hop

^nah, he's whats considered glitch music, but he also produces IDM (intelligent dance music) music. Glitch contains elements of hip hop, but is actually a sub-genre of electronica (which means electronic music which is not intended to be danced to)

One word extingusiher to me is hip hop....not arsed what electronic genre is classified as...its incredibly similar to rjd2....and he's definitely hip hop.

anyone heard savath and savalas? its prefuse 73 and some woman he was shagging, but its on a spanish folk tip, and was all recorded in barcelona. i got apropa't which is the best lp. i recommend

One Word Extinguisher was one of the best albums I've given an ear to. I just got into Prefuse 73-type music, and it's pretty good overall. Been growing avid of it ever since.

Prefuse 73 is fucking amazing.. One Word Extinguisher and Vocal Studies whatever, great albums.. Pretty much everything Warp Records releases is a personal favorite of mine.. Scott Herren is definitely influenced by other Warp acts such as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and Autechre, but yea there is some definite old school Dj Shadow and RJD2 in there as well.. Hopefully he doesn't fall off like those two did, lol.. But yea, if you guys like this I think Machine Drum would be right up yalls alley...
