You..Don't...REALLY, wanna go there do you?
What's your budget ?
Find out what type of memory your using, e.g "DDR 400". Then buy 2 GB's worth (£100). That will make your pc run faster. Then buy a graphics card, you will needa find out if your motherboard has a AGP or a PCI-e graphics card slot. I'd take a guess, that it'd have a AGP one so buy a Nvidia 7800GS graphics card (£80).
Since AGP is an old standard, there are many limitations and you will not be able to get the maximum out of games. Personally if I was you, I would buy a new base system or upgrade nearly the whole system which includes CPU, memory and graphics card.
The depth of the upgrade really depends on Australian prices. It might be cheaper to just buy a new pc, lol. Hook me up with a few Australian online store sites and I'll be able to advise you more accurately.

Dell - the cheapest components in the world... tacky shit. Avoid...
Zeke, first download PCWizard2006 (try breaking it up if you can't find it like that). That will tell you everything you need to know. If you post up some screenshots, I'll be able to tell you what you need...
What Pc do you have? A Custom Build? Advent? eMachine? Dell? Etc... If you have one of those, post up the model number too :D

Download the program here http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php . It tells you everything about your pc, even the resisters which it's using  .

Dell cut costs too much. They buy 'near' broken components from manufactures and sell them off in their PCs.
