Jay rides harder on it IMO......I love NaS too....

But it really shouldnt be a matter of who came better, both of those great MC's did their thing on it.....

Great song...

I love Jay's bars...

"Huddling over the oven, we was like brothers then,
Tho you was nothin other than the son of my mother's friend,
Governin', who would of thought the love would end??"

That shit is DOPE like cooked crack.....

Jay's part to me was just deeper overall. How he adresses his relationship with Dame and the dismantling of the Rock and uses metaphors to address to them is truely ill. Analyze his verse critically, kinda hard to with the rhymescheme and shit, but theres a message in the lyrics. "The root of evil strikes again, its good sting"

Two different styles here though, its a matter of personal preference.

Jay definitely spit dope shit on this one... I kinda hate the whispering scheme but whatever he came correct.... Nas' verse was dope shit too and I prefer it.... track overall is cool.... I think it could of been better.

I think Nas' verse was better, but that was the best Jay has come with in a while. The thing that gets me is how much more time Jay gets than Nas. The last part of the track cut of abrubtly, anybody think there is one more verse?
