If all the numerous posthumous albums released by the Tupac estate haven't been able to quench your thirst, don't worry. RapWorlds.com has learned of a new young men's line called "Makaveli" that is currently in production and expected to hit stores before late 2003 - making sure this Christmas is a "Thug Holiday."

The new Makaveli label is the result of a partnership between the late rapper's estate and an as yet undisclosed apparel manufacturer. It will consist of denim, t-shirts, and athletic pieces inspired by Tupac's poetry and featuring Tupac's imagery. Tupac's line will be geared toward the high-end urban market and will be priced to compete with other top tier urban brands like Sean John and Akademiks.

Though there is little indication Tupac had a large interest in fashion, the new clothing line will round out a diverse and creative life. The late rapper displayed an early interest in theatre -- having spent his high school years acting in stage performances. Pac's music catapulted him to stardom in the music industry and his poetry would later captivate the interests of scholars in major universities where his writings are studied. Whether the rap icon would have pursued a clothing line if he were alive today is a question that will undoubtedly be debated by his millions of fans.
