Most UK acts wouldn't sell out and start spitting about money, cars and hoes or whatever you have to do to become famous today anyway, even if there was labels who took them. People like Lady Sov and Dizzie Rascal made that kinda music and are looked upon as a joke in the British scene.

The scene's still developing. But you can't deny that the quality over quantity ratio of UK artists record is pretty secure to me. Besides why would you want an artist to blow? Most artists to blow these days tend to havbe more of a gimmick as a selling point over any talent, I'm happy with the state of the scene over here, I just wish man would stop being lazy and get some sort of motive, it seems that the only acts that are making decent records are the already established peeps. My only quibble.

Well I personally think is good that no one from England has 'blown'. We have a much realer sound, and it hasn't been corupted by want for money. In fact right now it is as good as the US hip hop scene IMO
