When i used to live at Wales and for a short period in Leeds (Wakefield), i was a Mosher. Yeah, i wore the hoodies and everything.

Then i started to listen to mainly commercial rap which is when the slightly townie era came about.

Now it's just me. Not following any trend, could be put into a backpacker/skater category but dunno really.

I'm from Newport, South Wales - home of the Goldie Lookin' Chain and a veritable Mecca (the religious place, not the bingo) for Welsh Chavs. I truly thought no town in the whole of the UK could match Newport for the sheer proliferation of ChavScum which infests its council houses and streets.

And then I met my other half who is from Medway. And he took me to Chatham.

Wow. I take it all back! If it hadn't been for the Kent-London "Awight' mayt' " accents, I could have been at home in the dear old 'Port.

Chatham High Street where we met up with some friends of his from school. An endless procession of Burberry and cheap sportwear-clad chavs, the females all sporting Chelsea facelifts and adorned with more cheap nasty 9ct gold Elizabeth Duke shite than Mr T's neck, pushing strollers full of screaming chavlings, whilst puffing on fags and gossiping about how Kev had "gorn and got himself arrested" for nicking car radios again. Males, similarly adorned with cheap gold crap, slouching along on trainer clad feet with their hands in the pockets of their cheap nylon trackies, hoodies and baseball caps securely in place (so they can either avoid recognition by the mothers of their chavlings who they are trying to avoid or shoplift without detection), puffing on fags and discussing how many car stereos they'd nicked recently.

Bingo Halls, Maccy D's, Poundshops, Kebab/Salmonella establishments discount sportwear "emporiums" my God, the place had the lot!

I even felt rather nervous about leaving our car in the multistorey carpark - a bunch of chavs hanging about outside were eyeing it with GREAT interest. I was amazed to find it still there when we got back!

I also love watching Street Crime UK where every week the Medway Police spend their night shifts being called to Amadeus where yet another bunch of pissed up chavs are having a fight. What varied work these officers do!

And the girls - no offence but they all seem so fecking ugly and chavvy. I can totally understand why my fiancee left the place and moved down to Wales for us Welsh lasses. We have a fair number of Chavslags down here (Think Charlotte Church!) but in general I think us Welsh girls are a step up from "Chatham Slappers" as my other half calls them!!

Chatham - I take my hat off to you. You are surely the only place in the whole of the UK that can match or even outdo in some cases (though thats hard) Newport for Chavviness. Funnily enough, both cities are old docklands, too.

Nah its not that serious calm down its only about clothes and music taste reall, no one judges what you'll be like. If you wear alot adidas and listen to garage and grime, then you are a pikey or whatever.
