I loved food & Liquor, almost every track was great, I would probably put Fishscale and Hip Hop Is Dead ahead of it though

I never wanted to mention this because I hate on a lot of shit, but I don't like Lupe either. I don't think the album is that good either. I find most of his tracks boring. Dude isn't a bad MC just not to my liking.

To me, "Game Theory" by The Roots was the best album of '06.

I would consider Lupe to be one of the better emcees out. Food and Liquor was a good album but there were a few better albums out this year such as Ghostfaces Fishscales.

I don't like the rest of the list (Kingdom Come #4? Clipse only at #10?), but I agree with Lupe at the #1 spot.

I know i may get some flack for this.....but i actually enjoyed Bustas album.

Its quite a good list. I enjoyed the clipse, nas, the roots, j dilla, Ghostafe and the game. (so most of the list then).

Jay ZS release was shite. pure and simple.

BTW, Lupes release was ok i would give it a 6/10. Liked it at first but it is an album that has a limited amount of plays. Don't even listen to it now.

I still haven't heard Lupe's album.

I really liked Lupe's release not the best, the only albums I think were better than his are The Roots and Ghosts albums. I'd give Lupe's album a 7.5/10.
