Who is better in your opinion... Royce or Va?

i don't know who's better cuz they're very different type of rappers.... but i luv the darkest cloud n worst fears confirmed.... so i'll vote for vakill, even if i'm a big royce fan, but i think that those 2 albums from vakill r better than most of royce ones..... (death is certain is fucking dope too)

NO ONE in the midwest is more underrated than Vakill, I mean come the fuck on, nigga put out a top album of 06' by my stardards that went to bein pretty slept on......Tho he did get some national exposure thru XXL and The Source, (Props to both mags) everyone else still didnt know who he is, theres no one else that should get more recognition than him, no dissrespect to Royce.....Both good rappers.....

Lyrically Royce and Vakill aint a fair comparison, cuz their styles is mad different..... Vakill got very complicated subject matter at times with his metaphors, not only that, the niggas storytellin, and lyrical ability, and creative wordplay and style mainly makes him unique as a mothafucka.........He sounds like a Chicago rapper with a east coast based style, based on his punchline rappin and slick ass lyrics....Ppl say he's off flow, but he hits hard on each song from what Ive heard......

Royce the 5'9" is a good MC, I'm not hating on him. Vakill though, he has Royce by a noose in any aspect of Rap except for possibly freestyling because I've never heard Vakill freestyle as of yet. Vakill has better content, vocabulary, flow, delivery, punchlines, he is just a witty fucking MC. For whatever reason, I prefer Vakill's production, maybe because it is always dark, raw, hardcore.

VAKILL > Royce the 5'9" as well as anyone else in the Mid-West IMHO.

Who would you say is an iller MC than Vakill in the Mid-West? I agree, there are MC's with a lot more precedence than Vakill and deserve respect, i.e., Common Sense, Killa Army, Eminem, Rhymefest, Bone Thugz, etc... but if everyone was an "up-and-comer" I don't think anyone in the Mid-West can fuck with this dude. That's how ILL I think the dude is.

Damn this is a close match-up they're both so dope.

My vote goes to Royce because he has a more unique rhyme style and some of his wordplay is just a straight level above anything anyone else makes. Everyone else spits idioms and shit like that. But Royce, on some songs, like Boom, just goes above and beyond that.

Vakill is still dope though but his rhyme style is the basic one that everyone uses he just switches it up with multis from time to time.
