Umm.... Scarface is easy? Scarface has his own style. I mean, the guy has been setting treds since he was with the Geto Boys. Bobody ever made a song like, "My Mind is Playing Tricks On Me" That's a classic. And The Fix compares to no other album made. It was completely original. And not to mention my personal favorite.. The Last of A Dying Breed smh@Scarface being considered a style biter.

Okay Nas is an East Coast Version of Tupac. That was easy. I mean, early in his career he was original, but as of late, you mine as well call Nas Tupac Jr. Face it. That was easy. Pac went at the king of the East Coast. Nas went at the king of the East Coast. Pac made a big deal out of nothing, and made the song too personal. Nas did the same. Pac tried to gather support by appearing to be all about the kids, and about black power. Nas did the same. Pac is short as hell. Nas is too. LOL. Just playing with you. But you get the idea...

Jay-Z is not a fake Big Daddy Kane if that's what you're implying. He's most similar to B.I.G. Not that he's biting Big's style cause I mean they came out at the same time. Well, actually Jay was rapping before Big, but Big blew up first. Anyway, Jay is not lke Big Daddy Kane. When BDK first came out he was more like a street thug, always ready tp Brawl. When Jay came out he was reflecting on those times in his life, but he wasn't in videos jumping people like Kane was. But Jay and BDK are similar in that they both have the same sort of attitudes about women. They are both some playas. Both aren't exactly beautiful looking either. But they both don't give a shit. They have the game to make up for it.

Good thread playa.

ummm lemme see

Scarface-- i uno

Nas- A mix with Slick Rick/Tupac. I think the story-telling side of Nas derived from his QB brethren (prolly his flow too) and the intellectual/thug poet side from Pac in the early 90's. Plus his recent antics at taking on the whole record industry was a bit too similar to Pac's actions when he got signed to Death Row. I cant say that his style came entirely from both of em cuz Nas also has his own unique pattern that he throws in the mix

Jay-Z-- Seeing that Jaz was his mentor, it could be hard to say that a little bit of Jaz never rubbed off on him. He also follows the flashy lifestyle/ Street-Mafia like lyrics of BIG.
