And I dont know why someone would only check out Eminems singles cuz hes one of the dopest out there. And youd be missin alot especially since the first singles for all his albums ("Hi My Name Is",Real Slim Shady,Without Me) are really gay - I always skip these three when Im listenin. Too corny. Downside- Rhymes didn't flow with the beat most of the time(Em even said so himself), some songs("My Name Is", "I'm Shady") didn't match the comical genius of songs like "My Fault" or "Guilty Conscience". Also too many skits. Best Songs- "My Fault", "Rock Bottom", "Guilty Conscience" and "Still Don't Give A Fuck" "The Marshall Mathers LP" Upside- The classic album with sheer anger and agression done with witty lyricism and unmatched talent. Downside- Pop-induced "The Real Slim Shady" and production of some tracks didn't seem like Em's style. Best Songs- "Who Knew", "Criminal"(My Personal Fave), "Kim". "The Eminem Show" Upside- Eminem's greatest conceptual achievement ever, weaving songs together to follow the concept of his life as a show is incredible. Flow is perfected and rhymes are incredible. Also the first ever lyrically sound, successful lead off "Pop-kinda" single. Downside- Eminem doesn't display the raw anger and nasty lyricism as in MMLP and SSLP. Best Songs- "Sing For The Moment", "Till I Collapse"(Best rap song of 2002), "Without Me". OVERALL I say The Eminem Show was Eminem's greatest musical achievement, his greatest album...the lost classic. The album that should've been deemed a classic..sonic mastery at it's best and finest.
