I'm far from anything good, especially compared to someone who adopts their work as a part of their life like Jane Doe (wherever the fuck she went?).

Anyways, there are a few things I've had to do in my basic drawing class this semester that I'm pretty fond of, this being one of them (except for the bait background).

Cheers Dorris.

I'd rep you if I could, but even if I could, it would be negative rep.

Cheers mate, I appreciate it.

And with some well placed socks, you can pretend to have big feet like me, too.

I think the white outline around the shoe would have looked a little cleaner if it wasn't so bold. However, the rest looks good.. far from bummy lol. In all honesty I can't draw shoes for shit, so I'm definitely impressed. Mine come out looking like baby shoes (tall and squished).

This looks real nice Westwood, I think the BG should have just been a simple grey smooth pencil smudge, instead of the strange lines and black you added, the shoe in its self looks fucking dope, youve added a lot of details which is great, and I'm reall feeling the border, to distinguish it from the rest of the drawing.

8/10

and LoL @ Hob...

Word? I'll have to try a thin outline next time. I'm a fan of bolder thicker lines myself. Plus they're easier to fix if you mess up on them.

Word, I was going to go with just the black background, but was then advised to incorporate a part of the image's focal point into the negative space. Alas, I busted out the eraser and a 6B pencil and threw in some contour lines taken from part of the shoe.

Critique much appreciated. And I just got my mid term portfolio back yesterday, so I'll put up some picks of the stuff I that I'm happy with soon.
