Is Tupac Alive?

Most fans (over 83% in a recent survey) still hold on to the belief that Tupac Shakur may still be alive. There are many suspicious details about his departure that contribute to this.

The uncontested facts:

After leaving the Tyson fight on Saturday September 7, 1996, Tupac was alledgedly shot 5 times. He lived through the shooting and was taken to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead on Friday September 13, 1996.

The suspicious facts:

Friday the 13th is a very suspicious day.

There were never any pictures released of Tupac in the hospital.

In the song "Life Goes On", Tupac raps about his own funeral.

The driver of the car in which Tupac was riding, Suge Knight (the executive producer of Death Row Records), didn't show up for questioning about the shooting.

The video "I ain't Mad at Cha" was released only a few days after his death. "I ain't Mad at Cha" is track 13 on the album All Eyes On Me. The video shows Tupac as an angel in heaven. In the video, Tupac was shot after leaving a theater with a friend, which is very similar to how he was shot in real life.

Interestingly, Tupac dies in his last video released under the name "2Pac". His new video "Toss It Up" from the new album was released under the name "Makaveli". The second video to be released by the name Makaveli is "To Live and Die in L.A." But how could they shoot the second video when he is "dead". Was the video really shot 4 months before his death, back in August of '96?

In the video "Hail Mary" released under the name Makaveli, there is a gravestone that says Makaveli. But the gravestone is cracked and there is a hole right in front of it, inferring that Makaveli rose from the dead.

A shooting involving Snoop Doggy Dogg occured close to the release of his album Doggystyle. The shooting made Snoop appear more "real" and showed his fans that he really was a gangsta. The shooting gave him respect because everyone that bought his album believed what he was talking about. Within one week of its release, Doggystyle went platnium. Snoop was signed to the same label as Tupac which is Death Row Records.

In December '96, Tupac's new album went platinum. In interviews prior to the shooting, Tupac talked about how he wanted to stop rapping and being a gangsta and get out of the limelight. What is the only way Tupac could completly escape the media spotlight ??? (Answer: if the public thought he was dead.)

Press wasn't going to be allowed at the funeral, but then the funeral was cancelled for unknown reasons.

Tupac always wore a bulletproof vest, no matter where he went. Why did he remove it at a very public event like a Tyson fight?

In most of his songs he talks about being buried, so why was he allegedly cremated the day after he "died"? And since when do they cremate someone the day after death in a murder case?

Tupac's alias is Makaveli. Though the spelling is different, Machiavelli was a 16th century italian philosopher who advocated the staging of one's death in order to evade one's enemies and gain power. In Machiavelli's book Discourses Upon the First Ten Books of Titus Livy, in Book 2 Chapter XIII he says "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to deceive". This is Machiavelli's main idea and is the connection between Tupac and the writings of Machiavelli.

Tupac studied Machiavelli in depth while in prision was a fan and had read his books several times. Perhaps Tupac is taking his advice. Machiaveli wrote two books before his death. Look at what the All Eyez on Me disks are called.. Machiavelli's books were called, "Book 1," and, "Book 2." The CD's of, "All Eyez On Me," are entitled the same

One of Machiavelli's books is, "Discourses Upon The First Ten Books Of Titus Livy," which it's claimed Tupac read in jail. In Book 2, Chapter XIII He says, "a prince who wishes to achieve great things must learn to decieve..." This is very similar to verses in some of Tupac's songs.

Some say that Tupac modified the Machiavelli name because if you rearrange the letters, they spell, "Am Alive," or, "I Am Alive."

The title of the new album by Makaveli (Tupac) is The 7 Day Theory. He was shot on September 7th; and survived on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and"died" the 13th. Hence the title The 7 Day Theory.

Tupac's album All Eyes on Me was released on Feb.13, 1996. Tupac "died" on Sept.13, 1996. It is quite a coincidence that the two dates are exactly 7 months apart.

Tupac officially died at 4:03 PM. 4+3 = 7 Also he "died" at an age of 25 years. 2+5 = 7. It seems as if seven is Tupac's number.

There is nothing in the new album that says TUPAC RIP 1971-1996. Wouldn't it make sense to include something like that in the first album after his "death"? The only thing mentioned is "EXIT TUPAC ENTER MAKAVELI".

The executive producer of The 7 Day Theory , as listed in the CD booklet of the album, is Simon (who is a previously unknown producer in the rap music industry). In the bible, Simon was an apostle of Jesus. Simon was one of the first witnesses of the Resurrection listed by Saint Paul (I Cor. 15: 5). The Outlawz have confirmed Simon is a reference to Suge Knight who was with Tupac the night of the shooting.

In Richie Rich's album Seasoned Veteran, which was released on the same day as The 7 Day Theory, on the song "N*ggas Done Changed" which is a duet with Tupac, Tupac says the following lyrics: "I've been shot and murdered, can't tell you how it happened word for word / but best believe that n*ggas' gonna get what they deserve." This phrase implies that Tupac knows he will be dead when Richie Rich's album is released.

In Makaveli's (Tupac's) song "White Man's World" on album The 7 Day Theory, he says "We ain't never gonna walk off this planet unless ya'll choose to." Did he choose to walk off the planet by faking his death?

In Tupac's song "Ambitionz az a Ridah" on the album All Eyes On Me, he says "Blast me but they didn't finish, didn't diminish my powers so now I'm back to be a muthaf*ckin' menace, they cowards thats why they tried to set me up, had b*tch *ss n*ggas on my team so indeed they wet me up, BUT I'M BACK REINCARNATED." This implies that Tupac is reincarnated as Makaveli.

Tupac "died" in Las Vegas which is a payoff city, meaning all sorts of folks have been known to be on the take. That means doctors, press, lawyers, etc.

The white Cadillac containing the assailants was never found... How could this be when Vegas is in the middle of a desert?

There's a small Black community on the North side of town.. This strip is only about 8 blocks long.. If the attackers were Black.. Where did they go? Where did they hide?

The white Cadillac containing the gunmen passes a entourage of Tupac's boys, many of them body guards... No one gives chase and there are no witnesses...There were no witnesses on the street... How come? Why not, especially right after a heavyweight fight?

There is a 72 million dollar life insurance policy on him which has yet to be cashed. No legal actions could be taken against him as long as it isn’t cashed.

The video 'I Ain't Mad At Ya' foretold his death ....

The memorial services that were open to the public were canceled in both Los Angeles and Atlanta...

In addition to number 19, Tupac said in his song "Life goes on" from his "All Eyez on Me" CD, that when he died he wanted "every rapper" to rap at his funeral, etc. Why didn't Death Row fulfill his death wish?

In a 1994 interview with Tupac, he said before he went to prison that if he was ever sent to prison when he came out he would be worse than before. He was. He also said when he came out it would be like he was reborn. Was he speaking literally? He already died and he was worse when he came out of jail, plus Tupac switched his rapping name from 2 Pac to Makaveli, that could be considered a rebirth, all that's left is a physical rebirth (A sighting) and so far he's already completed more than half of this prophecy.

Suge Knight and Tupac are the only two music industry people on that high a profile with enough balls to pull off a stunt like faking death...

People close to Death Row and relatives of other famous rappers have speculated to me and others about the shooting being staged.

Why wouldn’t a company as powerful and rich as Death Row Records not put up a reward to find the killers?

Other possible clues are contained in the new album. It is called “The Don Killuminati: The 7 day theory” which is still a mystery in definition. Inside the cover, it reads “Exit: 2pac, Enter: Makaveli” as if 2pac has died and Makaveli born.

Here's my take on this: First, I'll admit that I think Tupac is alive. Some of the theories posted here are very believable, others I think were just [rather clever] coencidences that Tupac fans came up with when they had some time to think to themselves about it all. But the real question is "if Tupac is alive, will he ever return?" The answer is simply "no, he won't." And the reasoning behind it is very obvious.

From the very core of english literature comes a culture called the Anglo Saxons (sp?). Their belief was that life lives on through great stories and the heroic deeds of a man. Tupac's death wasn't heroic, but it is a great story. Through all of this Tupac has acheived immortality by making the world wonder if he really is still alive.. If he ever came back, what would be his purpose? Even before he died, he had already accomplished more than the average rapper could ever dream of. Comming back would kill this whole legacy that he has left us. And even though his comeback would be an unforgettable spectacle, it would only last for so long. In time, Tupac would loose his spotlight again. But because he has left us with these theories, he will never loose his spotlight. Generations from now they'll still talk about this as oppose to if he came back they could talk about how he had us fooled.

Whether you like him, or you hate him, Tupac is or was a great mind. Millions of people die in this world everyday and that's far too many names for them all to be remembered as somebody great. Tupac assembled this great plan to live on forever ..and he will.

So in closing, he will never come back even if he is alive. He'll live on through his music and his legacy.

i) rappers (eg. ja & 50) refering to pac still bein' alive, they're prolonging his legacy, playin' along with the dream.
ii) pac pre-empted his death? by mentionin' loads of stuff in his songs, that don't mean shit. why does nobody think biggie is alive? after all big's first album was ready to die, and the one he released later (after he was dead) was life after death, big makes many references to death, listen to "if i should die before i wake". many rappers talk about death.
iii) if anyone knows about his "fake death", it'd be suge knight? damn r u people stupid??? suge set up pac, because pac had over 100 unreleased songs locked up in the studio, and suge would make in the hundreds of millions off them and wouldn't have to pay the artist, but he hasn't made it because pac's mother took him to court and won the rights to pacs songs.

a lot of the theories about pac being alive are co-incidental, but the real facts are that pac's normal security team of 4 members were told to have the night off, the night he got shot. suge gave pac some replacements (who were off-duty cops). pacs security didn't give him a vest that night (they're meant to).
so when pac gets shot, the police are in on it so no one is gon' go down. the cops pinned the blame of a small time crip, who eveidently got shot death few months after pac's death. there's one police officer who was told to keep his mouth shut, and he's currently in legal proceedings with the LAPD. once he gets his shit sorted you'll find out the death row plot.

people if you're pac fans, try and get hold of the NICK BROOMFIELD interviews and investigation into pacs death. i think u can buy it on video/dvd, that'll tell u a hell of a lot.

i disagree wit Mischieveus that through his lyrics he's tried to achieve immortality. who are other dead music legends?? elvis presley, john lennon, Jimi hendrix, bob marley, frank sinatra. they'll live on forever, will never be forgotten. to be a legend, u simply need to be inspirational and world class. did any of these try and plant theories to enhance chances of lengendary status? no, is the answer.

Recently Bone thugs N harmony released a cd called thug world order. This cd was made to organize the thugs of the world and bring order out of all the thug chaos. Bone Thugs are highly suspected of helping Tupac fake his death. I've followed the 7 year theory for a while. The part of no pictures were ever released is bullshit. I've seen Tupacs autopsy pictures and his death certificate. The photos I think are fake, and the DC I know is fake. On the DC it says Tupac was 6'0" and 200 pounds, Pac wasn't nothing but about 5'6" and maybe 170 pounds if that. I forget how much he actually weighed.

(CNN) -- Rap star Tupac Shakur appeared yesterday in Beverly Hills and casually strolled through the streets as if the rest of the world had forgotten his "murder" nearly nine years ago.
Almost out of thin air, famed rapper Tupac Shakur showed up yesterday afternoon at a shopping mall in Beverly Hills. Escorted by an entourage of some ten indivduals including ex-producer Suge Knight and fellow rapper Andre Young (aka Dr. Dre), Shakur began visiting the many high-end stores he once frequented during the peak of his fame in the mid-90s. He looked as if all was well while onlookers stared in disbelief at the "ghost" before them.
In a private conference held late last night, close friends of Shakur and a small handful of reporters were privy to information about his life since the 1996 incident.
When asked why he chose to mislead the world into thinking he was dead Shakur reflected for several seconds. "I never meant to hurt my fans or anyone else," Shakur said. "There were men out there that wanted my blood and the blood of those closest to me. I did this for them. It wasn't an easy decision for me, but it was a step I knew I had to take."

According to family members and friends of the rap star, Shakur had been in hiding in the Columbian city of Cali under the assumed name of Jamal Millwood. This and other developments in the story have led many to begin investigating lyrics such as "I'm goin' back to Cali" that apparently foretold his disappearance in 1996.
It now appears that Shakur continued releasing album after album including "All Eyez On Me," "The 7 Day Theory," and "Resurrection" from that tropical location.
Conspiracy theories that abounded after the rap star's untimely death now appear confirmed. Tupac Shakur said he plans to continue the legacy he started. He said he looks forward to returning to the spotlight where he says he belongs. "I want to show all my enemies that you can't keep me down. Here I am - Resurrected," he said.
