Beaudegaz - Nice mellow vibe, almost reminds me of some Shadow work. Not big on the singing, and the melody is a bit repetitve and leaves you hanging, which is irritating at times, but overall it's a nice drop. Nice quality, drums are pretty nice, I give it 7/10

Gold - Completely different style than Beau's. I can see where the melody is trying to go, but it's really not corresponding to what the track is saying. A huge turn down is the hi-hat. I for one can't satnd most tracks with a evergoing quanitized hi-hat. If you insist on doing so, put some drops and break downs in it. Very repetitive and synthetic, but I can tell great improvement from your previous tracks, so good job. 5/10 for me.

Gold, I think Beau might be a little more advanced so it's not the most fair battle. Also, I think it would have helped if you each used the same style of music, that was like comparing Black Milk to Eminem (no offense if either of you don't like those two particular producers, point being each have their own completely different sound). From what I've heard from both of you, y'all have improved a lot.

That said, I say that Beau takes it.

Thanks for the vote, as you can see I only made it in one afternoon so I didn't really have time to go into all the small details, I see what your sayin about the hi-hats I could probably add some more variations in there

Yo...I like both....but overall I go wit Gold....

Reason being..is because I'm judging from an emcees point of view......if both these beats got laid in my lap I'd have 2 pic Golds...
Beau...yo ish is hella nice....and since their was no topic or style rule in this battle it's kinda unfair that you had a mellow beat and Gold had an energetic beat...but that's what it is gotta set them rules...I'm feelin Golds overall....nice guys..

Beau: Your sampling is ace and your drums sound very realistic, though the two don't fit perfectly together. The drum pattern should be a little sloppier to compliment your purposeful off-sequence sampling. Na'mean?

Gold: Yours is very cohesive and I like that. The melody is nice and I enjoy your use of the toms. My only crit would be to have the big climactic horn part come every 8 bars instead, just so it's that much more hard-hitting when it comes.

VOTE: GOLD

It was mighty tough fellas.
