How much of the cd has to be self produced?

Eminem co-produced The Marshal Mathers LP, but I don't if that were to qualify by your criteria.

I would say at least 90% of it.

Operation Doomsday really stands out to me. Apparently not only did he produce the whole thing but he also mixed it and mastered it. That would explain the shit quality on some of the songs.

It's hard to think of ten but I would definitely include Both Sides of the Brain by Del

Exacly what I was gonna say, in fact most UK albums are self produced, so I'd add Roots Manuva's first 2 albums, fuckin classics

i was just going to ask if they count, seeing as i was getting the impression that scott meant self produced albums with the producer also rapping....i might just be wrong though

Mobb Deep - The Infamous

Havoc produced all but three songs on it, and co-produced two out of those other three

This has to be on that list....I'd take Late Registration off and put this in its place

Yes, it was all produced and mixed by them (though I think that Pharoahe is the main beat junkie), with some co-production and co-engineering.
