Unfortunately two more rappers will be added to the already long list of rappers dead before thirty. The first rapper, Camoflauge was somewhat of an underground artist. Or was he? Universal Records is far from underground, and he did have a major hit in 2001 "Cut Friends", but his name won't be remembered alongside Biggie, Tupac, Big L, and Big Pun will it? The answer is no. Because he didn't get the spins that they did, or he didn't have mass appeal like they did.

But I haven't forgot about Camoflauge. I got a lap dance to his single at a graduation party. I could never forget that song. If anybody has a moment, go look for the single. It's really catchy with a fast paced bass filled beat. But anyway, Camoflauge was shot in his face 5 times in his hometown Savannah Georgia. And of course no arrests have been made. No possible suspects or even a motive is known. Camoflauge had no MC rivals, and wasn't into drugs, so who could have wanted to kill Camoflauge? We'll most likely never find out..

And a second MC dies by the name of Big DS. You probably wouldn't recognize the name at first sight, but he is one of the original members of Onyx. A Slam rap group from the East Coast including most famous members Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr. Big DS died after a long fight with cancer. His memory will not be forgotten. Onyx changed hip hop when they came out with their part hip hop part Rock style of rapping. It made it cool for blacks to respect Rock. And eventually led to the Wu-Tang and Korn tour.

Why weren't these deaths included in any shout outs, T.V. programs, or even lyrics? They only received a small bite sized article in the Source, and no mention at all from XXL. It just goes to show you that unless you go platinum, nobody notices you

And what about the memory of Poetry (of the Gravediggaz), Mausberg, Seagram, Scott LaRock (Yes, I know he was a DJ), Yaki Khadafi, Stretch, Freaky Tah, JMJ (another DJ...) and Eazy?

LMAO at my own post! "Poetry"?? I ought to be ashamed of myself, particularly as I consider Gravediggaz some of the GOATs...

My apologies to POETIC!
