Yur Worst Enemy

Many hip hop fans(including myself) have been anxiously awaiting from the return of The Fugees. But as we now know this will seemingly never happen.
After 1997 when The Fugees "explored other ventures" we all hoped they would reunite once again and save us from the lame groups that were out, Hot Boys, 504 Boys, Dungeon Family, etc. But Lauryn Hill' solo success kept her shying away from the idea of a reunion. And adding to the fact that she had three back to back pregnancies only worsened things. Pras had a weak single debuting a then new artist Mya, but his plan backfired. Mya became more famous than him, and people thought it was Mya's song featuring Pras. Wyclef dropped a well put together album The Carnival but it didn't move any units and failed to even hit gold status. He found success beefing with Canibus and forming his own group "City High"..... Now is it just me or does City High closely resemble the Fugees? Hmmm, let's see. We have a female with an extremely good singing voice backed by two average rappers with good lyrical content. Yes, I'm certain that Wyclef was thinking of a Fugees reunion when he made City High. By the way, rumors are circulating that "Claudette" from City High will be pursuing a solo venture. Just like Lauryn Hill did with the Fugees.
As of late, Wyclef and Pras haven't been exactly getting together too well. Pras came out of rap exile and announced plans for a new solo album, and has been on random mixtapes. Wyclef then blatantly dissed Pras on various unreleased diss records. Most notably "Fake Ass Pras" where Wyclef states:
"Every fan wants to see the Fugees back together
the only thing they don't want is the third member."
Pras retaliated by making a few diss tracks of his own where he says that Wyclef begged him to let him into The Fugees. And that Wyclef has gone Hollywood and forgotten where he came from. The two were once believed to be cousins but it was later revealed that they were just extremely close friends. Growing up they even slept in the same bed together. (No homo). So what does this mean for the future of The Fugees? There is no future for The Fugees. Lauryn Hill has cut off all contact with Wyclef since the Canibus drama, Pras is trying to sway fan support for his new album, and Wyclef is stating that Pras stole the publishing from him on the single "Ghetto Superstar" and claims he was the one who wrote the original song..
So I guess there will never be another album like "The Score". The Fugees are dead, and it's sad because they were the last real hip hop group to come out.
