Yeah I just started this whole graf thing a week ago. I'll be straight up the people in this forum inspired me. Before this all I did was spray paint tags not actual designs.
Anyway aside from practice sketches and stuff, this is like my 3rd real piece, so I'm looking for feedback and more importantly suggestions on what to add to it. Keep in mind the paper is a little more than two Notebook sheets big, it's like a mini poster. So I don't want to make a huge complex background.
Don't mind the markers and crap, I had this on my desk so there's a bunch of stuff on top usually.

Nice, seems a little spaced but all your letters look correct apart from maybe the c and v. A background or outline would have been good

first of all....
i noticed that the letters themselves arent evenly proportioned homie....
and you should use white paper colors tend to look out of color when you color over color....get it?
and if im correct you sketch your work right?
and if so stop it....i mean its aight when you doin the initial sketches but whne you get to the finished product if sketchyness isnt apart of your them then the lines should be extra clean.....and if you didnt sketch this then you should do you lines in smaller strokes...to make them less blotted....because it seems like you keep your markers down to long and when you stop at the point where you cant keep goin the markers ink builds up in that spot...thats why i choose to use pigment ink markers because they dont do that or alcohol markers but their expensive so i rack'em....
i like that your mind is creative like the R outline and the line through the C although their not done to the best quality they show that you think outside of the box homie.....i suggest that you get a medium point or larger point chisel marker and then use your handstyles(tag) and then just outline the letters and go from there so that you can understand line thickness...the arrows look scrannny and if you use soft curved lines on one letter you should use it all the way through and if you want to use two or however amny styles on one letter it has to be carried through the whole ting but it also has to blend well....also you should try and do a shape i.e a flag blowing in the wind then fill in your letters like that so that you know the flow of your joint.....also try and it doesnt have ta be but try and make the last two letters almost mirror each other so that you know it flows....you know what i have a lot of work ahead i will make another couple of tuts to help you out some more homie......
OVERALL: i love the creative and for you to have just started makes this a wonderful attempt....i hope that what i have stated above doesnt deter you from tryin again but only strengthens you to try harder....

yes this is a nice piece but the letter are not sized right but its a nice piece none the less how long did it take you......?
also an outline and a bg would make the piece look much better.
good job...
