I haven't been able to finish or start any pieces due to some injuries (long story) and the lack of free time.

This is how the last sketch I posted turned out:

There are a few areas that continually annoy me but otherwise I think it turned out as I hoped.

If you've seen this posted elsewhere please let me know. It was showcased without a watermark a while ago and someone ripped it.

That is god damn awesome. Looks great. Love the shading on the hair.

One thing that would annoy me if that was my drawing is the face line, the right side is a bit straight and sharper corner, somewhat more masculine, while the left is really smooth. But thats nothing. It seems whenever I've drawn a face, it always happens to me too, were the left always much smoother than the right. Also the shading around the nose area, seems a lot darker than it should be which makes it look slightly awkward. But again these minor stuff.

Again, that is really awesome picture. Keep it up.

You have a good eye.

The nose (that general area) is supposed to be a little darker due to the lighting but I see what you mean. I actually did most of the drawing with a mechanical pencil, then decided to add more contrast because I was unhappy with the result and ended up using a 2B and 4B pencil. I had never really worked with either one before so it was kind of a touch and go thing lol.

I also don't like how dark her right eye is compared to the left, but that's how it was in the original photo.

Thanks for the reply, I'll rep you.

Edit: I must have repped you a couple months ago or something.. have to spread :(

Wow, that is overall some smexy work Jane, The shading, and spacing seems on point and pro material. The lighting is a little wierd, buht it makes the face more dramatic looking as "oily". Buht Masterpeice sketch here...wish i new you, would pay you 20 bucks to do my Liner perspective lol!

Quite simply: wow.

The hair, the facial tones, the detailed skin texture are all superb. Apart from the already mentioned, the chin and part of the lower (our) left jaw seems to appear a little detached (not the best word to use) because of the outline - unless the outline was visible from the still that you worked with.

Still, very impressive.

I didn't even notice the outline, nice catch. I think it's just from using a darker pencil- it doesn't stand out quite as much when I look at it now so it may have been the flash of the camera that gave off the appearance.

Thanks for replying :)
