Well it's coming, and sooner than you might think. Looks like Amaru has been logging in a lot of hours with artists at the studios, and if things go on course, the fans are going to have a great Q4 2003. The soundtrack is still on course for Sept. release and will have at least one unheard Tupac track on it. (We mentioned this back in April) His movie should be hitting right after that, and then we're going to be blessed by yet another double album.

With his music releases finally coming to an end, I think it's safe to say that the fans have a HUGE library of Tupac's official work to tie us over till the afterlife. The good news, as we reported some months ago, is that we can expect one more double album after this upcoming release, and if we're lucky enough they'll put together some extra material and make another double album.

update

In a follow up to our previous post, for all those interested, the next double album by the late Tupac Shakur looks to be delayed till Q1 2004 while other projects are released. The Resurrection Soundtrack and movie will still hit this Q4 2003, which in turn looks to push back final completion of the next double album. Here's the email from Ged:

"I had been hearing for some time that there was a good chance the next Tupac album would be pushed back. I wasn't sure, so I didn't have anyone at Makaveli.com post it till I could confirm it. We've always been 100% on target with our info, so I didn't want to speculate on release dates that were still pending. Yes, the album has been delayed; according to the Estate we're going to have to wait till Q1 2004, which is on target from what I'd been hearing. This can change, and I'm sure it all depends on which projects get finished and which ones get the most priority. I can only speculate as to the reason, however I would assume this is because of their prior commitments to their projects just finishing up (Resurrection's release date, Resurrection's Soundtrack), etc. Any more information on this, and I'll send it to one of my Administrators or a Moderator to post. Have a great week!"

There you go. I'm sure all us fans out here can understand that delays happen, and the final product is all that counts. Thanks for clearing this up.
