Press Release May 9th 2007

Renaissance Music & Expertism Music Group are pleased to announce Rugged Intellect's long-awaited debut album "Renaissance Music: The Introduction" was reviewed by THE SOURCE Magazine and given 3.5 MICS! The current single "Biters Block" was also selected as one of the top singles of the month in the FAT TAPE section, which also includes Timbaland, 50 Cent, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and other platinum-coated singles.

Originally slated for a May 8th release date, the album has been pushed back to June 5th to coincide with the inking of an international distribution deal with Traffic Entertainment that will assure worldwide availability!

ruggeds delivery and flow is almost flawless, gwop era was a pretty nice cd
will definately buy this album once it comes out
btw peep the youtube video hes added, been rockin that on my sig for weeks now, that video is what got me into rugged I

The Source is never good on ratings... Kingdome come got 5 mics... :smh: even die hard jayz fans will say that album isnt worthy of 5 mics

You sure? I coulda swore it was 5. Well anyway thats still way too high... 3.5 at best.

It was rated higher then Hip hop is dead and IMO hip hop is dead is 4.5.

Yo, Kingdom Come wasn't that good IMO but just because you don't enjoy an album doesn't mean it was Jay's lyrical disabilities. His lyrics and flow were actually pretty damn good on Kingdom Come. He was just spitting about shit none of you care about. His rhyming schemes and delivery was on point though. The material of the lyrics just weren't enjoyable, just like Encore.

I actually was feeling Kingdom Come a lot more after I listened to it a few more times recently. You're correct about cats not feeling him because of the subject matter, it's not what people were expecting. People should give that album more a chance.

And that's coming from someone who thinks Jay-Z is HIGHLY overrated.
