Does anyone else give this album the respect it deserves?

One of the first hip hop albums I bought, after hearing "Shit On You" and still a regular listen. Before D12 World, these guys were raw and grimey. Some nice verses and beats, "Pistol Pistol" has one of my favourite beats ever.

Discuss.

D12 definitely dropped a real good album and it shits on D12 World really bad

Devil's Night and It Ain't Nuttin' But Music are my favorite songs

of course this album wouldn't be nearly as good if Eminem didn't have so many dope verses on it

True, D12 World is a piece of crap compared to this.

And yeah, this was back when Em came with sick verses.

American Psycho

Fight Music
Devils Night
Revelation
Girls
Shit On You
Words as Weapons

and I agree about the Em thing, I always end up waiting for his verse on most of the songs. Hes got some amazing ones on this

the last thing i bought by that had anything to do with that clown Eminem ...

this was actually a pretty good album .... then i got sick of his gimmick and because even everybody that didn't like rap had all of eminems cd's and i heard his shite so much it made me dislike him even more ... same happened with 50 & GRODT ...

even when i liked eminem i still hated him ... wanker ...

Yeah It's a personal classic, I like every track.

Underrated because people who hate eminem(for a variety of reasons) and people who think d12 are corny.

Highly underrated.

This album was decent, I'd give it like a 3/5. Alot of people only copped it because of Eminem, but I've always been a fan of Proof and Swift. I think Proof's solo work is better than this, but the beats on this album are hot, and some of the members of D-12, brought a respectable pen game. Decent album like I said, but not a classic.

This album was serious when it came out. I bumped this shit everyday when I first got it. Em did carry this cd as Concience said. His verse on "American Psycho" was superb. "Shit Can Happen" was a perfect way to start this album and the beats were crazy. Not bad at all.

I think it's one of the most rawest albums eva....I mean the grimyness of the violence and shit gives me the same feel of playing some free flowing video game where I'm beating the shit out of people wit pipes and bats and shit

my faves are instigator and revelation..

Yeah, people overlook this cause of D12 World and "My Band" or just cause theyre on the "We hate Em" bandwagon. Sucks to be them I guess, theyre missing out on a sick album.

See, i bought this album, and liked about 4-5 tracks. Now I probably would like 1, which is Revelation. Em has some good verses in it, but there's just something about the album that really lacks for me
