recently i listened to 50 cent's the massacre, and i came to the conclusion that it is still one of the best cd's to drop in the last few years. i also listened to both of banks' albums, bucks' album, and mobb deep's album... all of which are pretty legit compared to most of the shit dumped on us these days. i started wondering, 50 has some wack tracks, but lets face it, 50 cent is still the most dominant presence in the game now, and i think g-unit (mainly banks, buck, mobb deep) is the tightest crew in the game too. i can still listen to a lot of their music and enjoy it...

as for ja...we all know ja wasnt hard. he had no history. he rapped about bitches and tried to maintain a gangsta imagine that was never real.
50 cent was really doing heavy shit in the streets. i would put money on that 50 cent killed, or had people killed. ya, 50 raps about bitches now... so does every other rapper. its annoying, and those tracks are usually the skip tracks, but what about the songs on the massacre like this is 50, in my hood, im supposed to die tonight, ski mask way, a baltimore love thing, guns come out, toy soldier, position of power, and talking about me? those are all hard motha fuckin songs, and who is gonna deny it? then there was disco inferno, get in my car, and just a lil bit, which were all good party songs. and about 50's lyrcisim, i have no complaints about it. 50's melody, flow, and imagine make up for any lack of lyricism. and all those things play a huge role in his success and quality of his music. THE MASSACRE WAS A GOOD CD.
