View Full Version : Favorite Liquid Swords Track??
SomethingAwfl 06-16-2007, 11:06 PM Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm stuck between Gold, Cold World, and 4th Chamber. I didn't make a poll because the max is 10 and aside from maybe one track, all of them are contenders for the best song.
So, what's your favorite song on GZA's Liquid Swords?
Liquid Swords
Duel of the Iron Mic
Living in the World Today
Gold
Cold World
Labels
4th Chamber
Shadowboxing
Hell's Wind Staff / Killa Hills 10304
Investigative Reports
I Gotcha Back
Swordsman
B.I.B.L.E.
Shadowboxing
"Special Technique of Shadowboxin"
(Fuck dat)
"Pledge Alleigance to the Hip-Hop"
MrBoJangles 06-16-2007, 11:08 PM Hell's Wind Staff / Killa Hills 10304 for me

.ScottishHead 06-16-2007, 11:10 PM This is my favourite album of all time so i don't have a favourite track,

Joe Motiki 06-17-2007, 02:01 AM 4th Chamber
Gory Days 06-17-2007, 02:21 AM ...Gold
Tom.B 06-17-2007, 02:29 AM Damn, hard choice....I'd say Gold, then 10304...
Cengiz 06-17-2007, 02:29 AM Killa Hills 10304
GhostFaceDre 06-17-2007, 11:30 AM This is ridicuously hard. I'm gonna go with Shadowboxin only cause Method Man's verse on that is the fucking grimiest I've ever heard. Almost went with Swordsman though.
Gold. 06-17-2007, 11:42 AM Really couldn't choose, the greatest album of all time in my opinion...
Vats of Urine 06-17-2007, 12:12 PM I'mma say Shadowboxing and Duel of the Iron Mic.

Meh...
Aiyyo, camoflouge chameleon, ninjas scalin your buildin
No time to grab the gun they already got your wife and children
A hit was sent, from the President, to rage your residence
Because you had secret evidence, and documents
On how they raped the continents, and it's the prominent
dominant Islamic, Asiatic black hebrew
The year two thousand and two, the battle's filled with the Wu
Six million devils just died from the Bubonic Flu
Or the Ebola Virus, under the reign of King Cyrus
You can see the weakness of a man right through his iris
Un-loyal snakes get thrown in boilin lakes
of hot oil, it boils your skin, chickenheads gettin slim
like Olive Oyl, only plant the seed deep inside fertile soil
Fortified with essential, vitamin and mineral
use the sky for a blanket, stuffin clouds inside my pillow
Rollin with the Lands, the tribe's a hundred and forty four thousand chosen
Protons Electrons Always Cause Explosions
cold world for me probably

3. B.I.B.L.E.
This album is somewhere in my top 5 as well. Probably the best collection of kung-fu samples of any Wu-Tang album in addition to the ridiculously good lyricism.
Killuminati96 04-30-2008, 10:49 PM Tough choice but for me its either cold world or 4th chamber most probably I'd go with 4th chamber though.
