Dont know if anyone on here is intrested in this, i only got into it quite recently. but i must say i love it.

love watching the ultimate fighter series i have seen most of season 3, season 10 and currently watching season 13.
and i watched the UFC 129 which was a really good event

basically just wanted to know if anyone else on here likes watching it and who is there favorite fighters & matches and hopefully keep the page open with updates after all the big events.

my favorite fighters currently are

Mass-guy-poser lolz

UFC is good and if I had the channels on tv, I would follow it more. I like muay thai so that's my style and I think Vitor does muay thai.

I find kickboxing much more entertaining. I used to watch every event there was; UFC, Strikeforce, Dream, Sengoku, Bellator, Tachi, Titan... all that shit. But I recently gave up on it. It's turned into too much of a ballgame, and the UFC keeps buying everything up and turning it into shit.

But yeah, kickboxing >>>>>>

There's absolutely no stalling, and MMA (more specifically, UFC) seems to be 80% stalling. The scoring criteria is fucked... its so ass backwards that it's almost unbearable. Nothing makes sense. They score takedowns like they're fighting on concrete floors covered with broken glass. Diego Sanchez and Leonard Garcia win fights off of missed punches, and it hardly even seems like the guys want to fight each other anymore. They'll come in, circle each other and stare for 3 minutes, throw one punch combos, and stare some more. Then as soon as a guy commits to a punch, they shoot a TD and that wins them the round. When they get to the ground, they'll do some chest on chest bullshit, and just throw non damaging punches as little as they can justify not standing them up for. They won't create any space for the guy in guard to throw up a sub, and they won't go for any of their own out of fear of losing a dominant position.

Check out some kickboxing fights though... Zambidis vs Chahid, or Amrani vs Khamal are better than any MMA fight you'll ever see, I promise.

Vitor does not do Muay Thai... he's just a boxer. The only legit thaiboxers in MMA are Alistair Overeem, Anderson, Aldo, Shogun, and a prime Wanderlei. Overeem being the only one who uses thai throws and effective knees regularly. Then there are some ones that aren't getting anywhere in kickboxing so they switch over, but their grappling game is nowhere to be found so they get destroyed anyway. But yeah, Mike Goldberg will tell you some shmuch like Stephan Bonnar is a muay thai specialist LOL... but no... he doesn't do any muay thai at all. He just throws shitty kicks and pillow fists.
